Kigali City FC develops young players. Their safety and welfare come before results, always.
If you have a concern about the safety or welfare of any player, report it. Reports are handled confidentially and taken seriously.
Designated Safeguarding Officer — appointment pending confirmation
Every young player at Kigali City FC has the right to train and compete in a safe, supportive environment. Staff working with minors are vetted and supervised.
Physical, emotional and sexual abuse of any kind is prohibited and will result in immediate action, including referral to the relevant authorities.
Discrimination on the basis of race, nationality, gender, religion, disability or background has no place at Kigali City FC.
Bullying, intimidation and harassment — in person or online — are not tolerated among players, staff, parents or supporters.
Training loads, rest, nutrition, education and mental wellbeing are managed as part of every player's development plan.
Where the club arranges accommodation, minimum standards for safety, supervision, hygiene and living conditions apply.
Parents and guardians are informed of programme content, supervision arrangements and how to raise a concern.
Medical clearance is required before competitive participation, and injuries are managed under a documented return-to-play process.
